PUK President Reaffirms Support for New German CG in Kurdistan Region

PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani's meeting with new German CG Christian Oelfka.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Christian Oelfke, the newly appointed German Consul General in the Kurdistan Region.

President Bafel congratulated Oelfke on his appointment and wished him success in his new role, reaffirming the PUK’s readiness to cooperate with him and support his efforts.

The meeting addressed the general situation in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the wider region. President Bafel stressed the importance of maintaining and strengthening cooperation and relations between the parties to overcome challenges and ease tensions.
