On the occasion of the Islamic New Year, Kurdistan Region Deputy PM Qubad Talabani extended his warmest congratulations to Muslims in Kurdistan and around the world.

“I extend my warmest congratulations to the Muslims of Kurdistan and the world on the occasion of the Islamic New Year,” Talabani said.

“I hope this new year will serve as an opportunity to strengthen the spirit of unity and coexistence among different communities, and that it will be a year filled with blessings, peace and prosperity for our people.”

He concluded by wishing everyone a happy New Year and continued happiness and success.
