Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, met with Jalal Sheikh Naji, head of the Parastin u Zanyari / Zanyari Agency.
The meeting stressed the importance of continued coordination and cooperation among the security and intelligence forces of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq to address security challenges, reduce the impact of regional tensions and remove obstacles to peace and stability.
Following a report presented by the Parastin u Zanyari / Zanyari Agency, Talabani instructed the agency to continue carrying out its national duties and responsibilities and to contribute to strengthening security and intelligence efforts in line with the highest national interests.
Talabani stressed that the Kurdistan Region “has never been and will never be part of the problems”, adding that issues should be resolved through dialogue and that the Region would take its steps in accordance with the will of its people.
