PUK and KDP to hold a further meeting

PUK and KDP meeting

Following their meeting on Saturday, January 28, 2023, the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) published a joint statement.

The joint statement of the PUK and KDP political bureaus stated:

"Today, a senior delegation of the KDP and PUK Political Bureaus met in Sulaymaniyah to discuss the political situation in the Kurdistan Region.

The general situation, local and regional dynamics, as well as the perspectives and remarks of both parties on a variety of matters pertaining to the prior agreement between the two parties, were presented.

The parties ultimately agreed to hold another meeting in the near future."
