Sulaymaniyah Forum
Sulaymaniyah Forum begins in the city
The Institute for Regional and International Studies (IRIS)
at the American University in Sulaymaniyah Province is hosting The Sulaymaniyah
Forum, a high-level political event that focuses on the Middle East and South
Africa, with the Slogan (20 years later: Iraq and the region amid new global challenges).
This is the seventh time the American University of
Sulaymaniyah has hosted an event like this, which will cover important topics such as politics, economy, environment, law, human rights, health, and
energy.
Intellectuals, professionals, and decision-makers from the area and around the world will gather during the two-day forum to discuss the
most important regional issues in the world and to present current viewpoints
and areas of disagreement. This is a unique chance to bring together those
interested in regional issues with politicians and intellectuals in order
to undertake a political and strategic discussion that is crucial in the modern
world.
The Sulaymaniyah Forum will receive a lot of media interest,
and there will be various interviews and informational exchanges with
prominent figures before recommendations and solutions for local and
worldwide developments and issues are eventually presented.
"20 years later: Iraq and the region amid new global challenges," is the meeting's slogan this year.
In addition to the participants, a large number of
journalists and local and foreign media channels will be busy with covering the
forum and it is seen as an important media event.
Sulaymaniyah Forum seeks to transform ideas and discussions
into actions and policies that can make a difference in people's lives.
