Sulaymaniyah Forum begins in the city

The Institute for Regional and International Studies (IRIS) at the American University in Sulaymaniyah Province is hosting The Sulaymaniyah Forum, a high-level political event that focuses on the Middle East and South Africa, with the Slogan (20 years later: Iraq and the region amid new global challenges).

This is the seventh time the American University of Sulaymaniyah has hosted an event like this, which will cover important topics such as politics, economy, environment, law, human rights, health, and energy.

Intellectuals, professionals, and decision-makers from the area and around the world will gather during the two-day forum to discuss the most important regional issues in the world and to present current viewpoints and areas of disagreement.
