President Bafel: We welcome any effort that benefits our people

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), congratulated the Kurdish people on Newroz and the Kurdish New Year of 2723.
 
The PUK President's message said:
 
Dear citizens across Kurdistan
 
On the occasion of the Kurdish New Year and Newroz, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a joyful holiday.
 
I hope Newroz will be a source of joy for our people and a means of strengthening our spirit of love and unity. Let us all work together in the true Kurdish spirit for Kurdistan's pride and prosperity, along with our people’s future stability.
 
With the beginning of the Kurdish New Year and the lighting of the Newroz flame, the PUK reaffirms its commitment to expanding relations and coordination with all political parties. We welcome all efforts and initiatives that benefit our nation and its resilient people. We are now and will always be open to a national and constructive dialogue, and we will bear the weight of this historical and national duty.
 
We have a profound and unwavering belief in unity because it is the only way to achieve the legitimate rights of the Kurdish people and build a prosperous future.
 
Today, which coincides with the anniversary of the liberation and uprising of our beloved Kirkuk, I wholeheartedly congratulate Kirkuk and the proud people of Kirkuk, assuring them that the PUK will be the force that will always be with them.
