PUK leadership member: Your achievements are only failures

If breaking the law, restricting freedom, punishing journalists, unemployment, and lack of electricity are accomplishments, then the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) will never wish to claim ownership of those things.
 
Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, tweeted: "Those who do not stand with us today, should not claim ownership of our achievements tomorrow and take advantage of our victories.  Meanwhile, a PUK Leadership Council member says: "Which Achievement?"

The ninth cabinet caused suffering for the nation

Haji Masifi, a member of the PUK Leadership Council, told PUKMEDIA: "Nothing has been accomplished by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG)'s latest cabinet.  As opposed to that, it has only wreaked havoc on the nation. Other traits and accomplishments of this cabinet include the lack of electricity, breaking the law, limiting the freedom of expression, mass youth migration, and many others."
 
"The ninth cabinet was the worst cabinet of the KRG as the Kurdistan Region has had a police government for the past four years," Haji Masifi stated.  "No one has been able to express their ideas, critiques, and proposals openly."

There is no such thing as achievements

Qubad Talabani has already traveled to Baghdad on multiple occasions in an effort to settle disputes between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq and improve the livelihood of the people, particularly salaried employees. Those who view failures as achievements, however, do not want to admit that the PUK is the foundation of any achievement of the Kurdish nation.
 
"No party, not even the PUK, wants to take credit for the accomplishments of this cabinet, if any, because, in reality, this cabinet was dishonest with the parties and the people, and we do not see any accomplishments that we can take credit for," Aras Mohammed Agha, a member of the PUK leadership Council, told PUKMEDIA.
 
"The PUK has achieved the revival of the new revolution, the uprising, and the fight against terrorism and prevented the occupation of Erbil," Said Agha.  “Therefore, it has never stopped fighting and sacrificing for the rights of its citizens and is unwilling to take credit for any failures that are viewed as achievements."
 
"People still remember that Qubad Talabani visited Baghdad frequently in recent years to settle disputes between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, and any agreement between Erbil and Baghdad is a product of the past, and the PUK is its source," said Agha.
 
Political observers think that this cabinet was a police cabinet and has harmed the reputation of the region since, following the most recent foreign reports, the Kurdistan Region is experiencing a major loss in freedom of speech and human rights.
