Qubad Talabani, the deputy prime minister of the Kurdistan Region, and his delegation were welcomed by Nuri Al-Maliki, the leader of Iraq's State of Law Coalition.

They addressed the general political and security situation, highlighting the value of unity in overcoming obstacles, supporting the democratic system, and ensuring the success of government initiatives.
The two parties also emphasized the significance of maintaining the joint projects and the unity of Iraq, focusing on the need to maintain border control and strive to reinforce and sustain the security advancements made in both the Kurdistan Region and throughout all of Iraq.
