Deputy PMs of Kurdistan Region, Greece discuss latest developments

Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region and Greek Deputy Prime Minister.
Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, met with Greek Deputy Prime Minister Panagiotis Pikrammenos and discussed the political, security, and economic situation in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the region.
The meeting was held on Friday, April 28, 2023, on the sidelines of the annual Delphi Economic Forum in Greece. They discussed the most recent events, including the political and economic changes in Kurdistan, Iraq, and the region.
"Because global competition at the economic and political levels is increasing, this forum will have a very positive impact on resolving current problems," said Qubad Talabani.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed methods to deepen cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and Greece, highlighting the significance of leveraging Greece's substantial knowledge in several disciplines, including initiatives to reform the governance structure.
Also, on the same day, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region met with Greek Interior Minister Makis Voridis and Greek Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis.
Qubad Talabani praised Greece's efforts in hosting the Delphi Forum, adding that the Kurdistan Region is participating to gain knowledge from Greece and other countries regarding investment, the environment, and human rights.
They subsequently addressed measures to improve relations between the Kurdistan Region and Greece, with the Greeks expressing willingness to assist the Kurdistan Region in these areas.
On the sidelines of the annual Delphi Economic Forum in Greece on Friday, April 28, both meetings reviewed the latest developments, political changes, and strategies to improve the economy.
