President Bafel: Our goal is to build a brighter future

The meeting.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Ammar Al-Hakim, the leader of Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement, in Dabashan, Sulaymaniyah.

Rafaat Abdullah, Decision-Maker of the PUK Political Bureau's Executive Board; Shalaw Ali Askari and Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, Political Bureau Executives; Qubad Talabani, Supervisor of President Mam Jalal's Secretariat Office; and Salar Sarhad, Head of the PUK's Kurdistan Relations Board, attended the meeting. They reviewed the most recent political developments, highlighting the need to continue national conversations and adopt positive initiatives to ensure the country's stability and the success of the government's reform agenda.

President Bafel thanked Al-Hakim for his concern for the health of President Bafel and said: "Our efforts to resolve the issues between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad and provide more services to citizens will continue, and our goal is to build a brighter and more stable future for our people."
