President Bafel Jalal Talabani met the family of martyr Murad Kani Kurday
Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received the family of martyr Murad Kani Kurday at Dabashan, Sulaymaniyah Province.
In the meeting, President Bafel Jalal Talabani honored the family of martyr Murad Kani Kurday for their significant role in the history of the Kurdish people's struggle and for giving numerous martyrs for the sake of Kurdistan.
"The PUK is your home and will support you in achieving justice and the rule of law. Your case is also a matter of concern for us; rest certain that whoever was responsible for Murad Kani Kurday's martyrdom will be held accountable," he stated.
The family of Murad Kani Kurday responded by thanking President Bafel for always being there for them, taking up the case wholeheartedly, and helping them track down the criminals. They said: "The PUK is our party and will continue to serve with greater zeal as we continue along the sacred route of the Party of Martyrs."
