PUK Condemns Holy Quran Burning in Sweden

The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) has issued a statement urging Sweden to treat Islamic sanctities with greater responsibility.

The entire Political Bureau statement is as follows:

The PUK's Political Bureau condemns the phenomenon of the burning of the Holy Quran in Sweden, which could lead to tensions between the two countries and other reactions.

In this regard, while endorsing the formal and diplomatic actions of the Iraqi government, we urge the Swedish government to treat Muslims’ sanctities with greater responsibility.
