PUK President Opposes Combining People's Lives with Political Issues

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met Muthanna al-Samarrai, Leader of the Azim Alliance, at President Mam Jalal's house in Baghdad. 

The meeting focused on cooperation and constructive dialogue among all political parties in order to protect the country's stability, as well as on recent political developments. 

It is unacceptable to combine people's lives with political problems," President Bafel said, addressing tensions between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad. "Therefore, establishing a decent living for our people must be our goal, and everyone must work toward this aim." We are doing everything in our power to ensure that the rights of all Iraqis are protected and that the Constitution is upheld.
