COI: Iraqi President Discloses His Financial Assets for 2024

The Iraqi Commission of Integrity (COI) announced that the President of the Republic of Iraq has made public his financial holdings for the year 2024.

In a statement seen by PUKMEDIA, The COI confirmed the receipt of the financial disclosure for the present year from Iraqi President Dr. Abdullatif Jamal Rashid.

Earlier, two ministers from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in the federal government had also publicly revealed their financial holdings for the year 2024.

In a statement, the Ministry of Justice announced that Dr. Khaled Shwani, the Minister of Justice, has provided the COI with a list of his financial interests. This action reflects his belief in the important oversight role of Iraqi regulatory agencies, as well as his commitment to transparency and support for their efforts in combating financial and administrative corruption.

The Ministry of Environment also stated that Nizar Amidi, the Minister of Environment in the Federal Government, has publicly declared his financial assets as a demonstration of his commitment to transparency and integrity.
