Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), paid a visit to Sheikh Adham Barzani at his residence in Sulaymaniyah.
They engaged in a conversation regarding the current state of affairs in the Kurdistan Region, specifically focusing on the Kurdistan parliamentary elections. They emphasised the importance of effectively carrying out national initiatives aimed at bringing about changes in the governance system and benefiting the citizens.
Regarding the recent updates and measures taken to ensure fair elections, President Bafel emphasised that all parties and groups invested in the success of the Kurdistan Region's democratic progress and the establishment of effective governance must oppose any attempts to delay the elections or hinder this crucial democratic process.
The gathering also highlighted the promotion of bilateral relations and the consolidation of national endeavours to resolve issues and safeguard the constitutional rights of the Kurdish people within the federal government.
