PUK President's meeting with British CG.
Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), welcomed Andrew Beasley, the British Consul General in the Kurdistan Region.
During the meeting, they discussed the formation of the new government and the need for coordination among parties to address the issues between Erbil and Baghdad.
Both sides also stressed the importance of establishing a service-oriented government aimed at fostering the development of the Kurdistan Region and ensuring a decent standard of living for its people.
President Bafel Jalal Talabani outlined the steps for forming the new government, stating, "The demands of the people are our work programme, and we will take every measure to secure a brighter future. Kurdistan requires service and unity, not discrimination and authoritarianism, which we fortunately ended."
