The meeting of DPM Talabani & Turkish CG.
Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, welcomed Erman Topçu, the Consul General of Türkiye in Erbil, to discuss bilateral relations and the post-election period.
During their meeting on November 5, 2024, DPM Talabani and CG Topçu exchanged perspectives on the post-election roadmap, the formation of the government, and the overall regional situation.
In another part of the meeting, DPM Talabani mentioned that they have a specific reform plan and programme for the future, and he reaffirmed their commitment to addressing issues and shortcomings.
For his part, the Turkish CG emphasised the significance of the relationship between Türkiye and the Kurdistan Region across various sectors.
Qubad Talabani: We Aim For Political & Healthy Environment for Governance
On Tuesday, Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, met with Ahmed Al-Dhaheri, the United Arab Emirates Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, to mark the conclusion of his duties.
During their discussion, DPM Talabani praised al-Dhaheri for his efforts in enhancing the relationship between the UAE and the Kurdistan Region, wishing him success in his future endeavours.
The DPM highlighted the strong ties between the Region and the UAE and they also addressed the post-election phase in Kurdistan, as well as recent regional and international developments. Talabani reaffirmed that they have their own strategies and plans for the upcoming phase, aiming to foster a political and healthy environment for governance.
In response, the UAE CG highlighted the importance of reinforcing coordination between his country and the Kurdistan Region across various sectors, grounded in mutual understanding, friendship, and shared interests.
