“On the occasion of Newroz and the Kurdish New Year, which coincides with the 34th anniversary of the victory of the uprising and the liberation of Kirkuk, the sacred city of Kurdistan, we extend our warmest congratulations to the people of Kurdistan and the Kurdish nation worldwide.
Throughout history, Newroz has been cherished by many nations as a festival of renewal, while for the Kurdish people, it symbolises national struggle and resilience.
On this national occasion, we express our hope for collective efforts to unify the Kurdish ranks in a spirit of solidarity, safeguard the supreme interests of our nation, and establish a government that is both effective and dedicated to serving the well-being and prosperity of our people.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations on Newroz and the realisation of your eternal spring of liberation.
