Kurdistan Asayish Arrests Terrorist Suspects and Dismantles Hideouts in Joint Operation

The Kurdistan Region Asayish Agency has announced the arrest of five terrorist suspects and the destruction of their hideouts in separate locations during two coordinated security operations.
In an official statement, the Agency said: “Operational units of the Kurdistan Region Asayish Agency, in coordination with federal security bodies and acting on precise intelligence, successfully destroyed terrorist hideouts in the Jabalbur area, south of Kirkuk Governorate.”
According to the statement, the Asayish forces also apprehended five additional suspects during security operations carried out in Kalar, Chamchamal, Halabja, and Sulaymaniyah.
It further added: “These individuals had sought to conceal themselves in the aforementioned areas and were detained under Articles 2 and 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law.”
