Shalaw Kosrat Rasul welcomed Albrecht von Wittke, Consul General of Germany in the Kurdistan Region, along with his accompanying delegation, in Sulaymaniyah on Monday, 19 May 2025.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the current situation in the Kurdistan Region, the relationship between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad, and the living conditions of citizens. 

They also exchanged views on the ongoing formation of the new Kurdistan Regional Government cabinet and the negotiations among the political parties regarding the matter.
