On the seventh day of the Iran–Israel war, both sides continued to exchange fire using aircraft, drones, and missiles, with the combined number of dead and injured approaching 3,000.
A US based human rights organisation reported that more than 639 people have been killed in Iran as a result of ongoing Israeli strikes since last Friday.
On Thursday, 19 June 2025, the Associated Press cited statistics from Human Rights Activists, an organisation based in Washington, regarding the casualties caused by Israeli bombardments of Iranian cities. According to the organisation, at least 639 individuals have been killed and a further 1,329 injured in Israeli air raids on Iran to date. These figures were reportedly compiled by cross-referencing local reports from within Iran with the organisation’s established network of sources across the country.
Separately, Israel’s Channel 12 reported that 24 people have been killed and 838 others injured as a result of Iranian strikes since the beginning of the conflict. The report added that approximately 5,000 individuals have been evacuated from their homes. According to the broadcaster, Tehran has launched more than 400 rockets, around 40 of which landed in various locations across Israel. “At least 271 people injured by this morning’s Iranian missile strike have been admitted to hospitals nationwide,” the report stated, “including casualties from rocket impacts in Ramat Gan, in the Greater Jerusalem area, and Holon, in the Greater Tel Aviv region.” The channel noted that four of the injuries were classified as serious.
