PUK Media Board Recognised for Outstanding Coverage of SDAAW Conference

The Supreme Committee of the Social Democratic Alliance in the Arab World (SDAAW) Conference has awarded a certificate of appreciation to the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan’s (PUK) Media Board, recognising its substantial contributions to the success of the four-day event.
The recognition was presented during a visit by Dara Khilany, Head of the PUK Arab Relations Board, accompanied by a delegation, to Latif Nerwayi, Head of the PUK Media Board. The delegation conveyed its thanks to all PUK-affiliated media outlets for their active and outstanding role in covering the conference through programmes, magazines, and newspapers.
In response, Nerwayi expressed gratitude for the honour and reaffirmed the Media Board’s commitment to supporting the PUK’s organisational and media responsibilities, stressing that PUK media would continue to act responsibly and effectively in all areas.
The SDAAW Conference was held on 27-30 August 2025 in Sulaymaniyah, bringing together leading figures from across the region. The conference concluded with the election of PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani as President of the SDAAW.
