KRG Council of Ministers to Discuss Financial Situation and Employee Salaries

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Council of Ministers is scheduled to hold its regular meeting today, Wednesday, to address a number of pressing issues affecting the region.
According to a statement from the KRG Department of Media and Information, obtained by PUKMEDIA, the Council will review the findings of a follow-up and evaluation of the current financial situation in the Kurdistan Region. This assessment was conducted by the Ministry of Finance and Economy, following a recommendation from the previous Council of Ministers meeting.
The session will also focus on monitoring the implementation of measures to disburse employee salaries for the remaining months of the current year, 2025. Ensuring timely payment of salaries remains a top priority for the KRG, reflecting its commitment to the welfare of public sector employees.
The Council of Ministers’ discussions are expected to provide further clarity on the financial outlook of the region and reinforce ongoing efforts to maintain economic stability while meeting the needs of citizens.
