UK Condemns Attack on Khor Mor Gas Field

The United Kingdom has strongly condemned the attack on the Khor Mor gas field in the Kurdistan Region last night.

In a statement, Irfan Siddiq, the British Ambassador said: “The UK strongly condemns the attack on the Khor Mor gas field last night in the Kurdistan Region,” stressing that assaults on vital infrastructure endanger both Iraq’s stability and the safety of its people.

The Ambassador affirmed the UK’s support for Iraq and its partners in safeguarding key sites, stating: “The UK stands with its Iraqi partners and supports efforts to protect vital facilities.”

He added that those responsible for the attack must be held accountable.
