PUK President Extends Akitu Greetings, Reaffirms Commitment to Coexistence

Bafel Jalal Talabani has extended warm congratulations to Chaldean, Syriac and Assyrian communities on the occasion of Akitu and the Babylonian New Year, wishing them a peaceful celebration while reaffirming the importance of strengthening coexistence and unity among all peoples in Kurdistan.

The following is PUK President's message:

On the occasion of Akitu and the Babylonian New Year, we extend our warmest congratulations to our Chaldean, Syriac and Assyrian brothers and sisters, and wish you a peaceful and joyful celebration.

On this occasion, we stress the importance of strengthening and advancing peaceful social coexistence among all peoples and communities.

As ever, the PUK will continue to support efforts to deepen brotherhood and unity among all, so that we may work together to promote development and preserve stability in our country.
