PUK President Expresses Appreciation to Former Iraqi President

PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani and former Iraqi President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with former Iraqi President Dr Abdullatif Rashid in Baghdad.

The meeting was attended by Qubad Talabani and Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, members of the PUK Political Bureau.

During the meeting, President Bafel expressed his appreciation for Dr Rashid’s role and contributions, underlining that he had served the people with dedication and worked towards achieving their national aspirations throughout his tenure. He also wished him continued success.

On behalf of the PUK, participants in the meeting thanked Dr Rashid for his consistent efforts to address and resolve national issues.
