Kurdistan Region Deputy PM and Lebanese counterpart meet in Greece.

Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, has held talks with Lebanon’s Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri on the impact of ongoing regional tensions and ways to strengthen bilateral relations.

During the meeting, both sides noted that the Kurdistan Region and Lebanon have been significantly affected by the continuing conflict across the region.

They expressed hope that disputes can be resolved through dialogue, paving the way for the return of peace and stability for people across the region.

The discussions also focused on expanding cooperation in economic, trade, and tourism sectors, with both officials emphasising the importance of closer coordination to support mutual growth and strengthen ties between the two sides.
