PUK VP: PUK’s Principal Objective is to Serve Kirkuk Communities Without Discrimination

PUK Vice President Rifaat Abdullah's meeting with PUK Politburo Member Aso Mamand and party cadres in Kirkuk.
Rifaat Abdullah, Vice President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), visited the party's Political Bureau office in Kirkuk, where he was received by Aso Mamand, a member of the Political Bureau, together with several members of the PUK Leadership Council and representatives of the PUK bloc in the Iraqi parliament and the Kirkuk Provincial Council.
During the visit, Abdullah stressed the importance of advancing organisational work, responding effectively to party developments, and reinforcing the role of PUK institutions. He stated that party reforms help strengthen institutional standing, empower party cadres, and enhance their sense of responsibility.
Regarding the situation in Kirkuk and the disputed territories, Abdullah affirmed that the PUK’s principal objective is to promote stability and deliver services to the city and its communities without discrimination.
