Iraqi President Receives Congratulatory Messages From His South Korean and Azerbaijani Counterparts

Iraqi President Nizar Amedi received messages of congratulations from his South Korean and Azerbaijani counterparts.
President Amedi received a message of congratulations from South Korean President Lee Jae Myung on the occasion of assuming office.
In his message, President Lee highlighted the sustained momentum in cooperation between the two friendly nations, particularly in the fields of construction, infrastructure, and energy.
He expressed his aspiration to further advance bilateral relations in a manner that consolidates the foundations of friendship and broadens the horizons of joint cooperation.
President Amedi also received a congratulatory message from his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of taking office, delivered by Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Iraq Ildar Nader, at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad.
“Our relations with Iraq have developed significantly in recent years, reaching an advanced stage. I am confident that we will continue to deepen cooperation and broaden our partnership for the benefit of our two friendly peoples,” President Aliyev said in his message.
Azerbaijan’s President also conveyed his wishes for President Amedi’s continued health, happiness and success, expressing hope that his leadership would contribute to the well-being of the Iraqi people.
Talks also touched on ways to deepen bilateral relations and broaden cooperation across areas of mutual interest, alongside an exchange of views on regional and international issues.
President Amedi, in turn, asked the ambassador to convey his greetings to President Aliyev and expressed appreciation for the message.
"We place great importance on consolidating our relations and expanding partnership frameworks to support our shared aspirations for stability and development,” the Iraqi president said.
