Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani has discussed strengthening ties between the Kurdistan Region and the Czech Republic during a meeting with Lukáš Gjurič, the Czech Consul General.

In a statement, Talabani said the talks focused on enhancing cooperation between the two sides, particularly in the fields of trade and agriculture, with an emphasis on expanding economic partnerships.

He also noted that both sides exchanged views on supporting the Regional Development Agency in Raparin as a pilot initiative aimed at boosting the Kurdistan Region’s economy through rural development and agrotourism.
