PUK President, Azm Alliance Leader Discuss Forming New Iraqi Government

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Muthanna al-Samarrai, leader of the Azm Alliance, at President Mam Jalal’s House in Baghdad.

The meeting was attended by Darbaz Kosrat Rasul and Khalid Shwani, both members of the PUK Political Bureau.

During the meeting, the latest developments in Iraq and the wider region were discussed.

Both sides stressed the importance of uniting efforts to complete the legal procedures and form the new Iraqi government within the constitutional timeframe.
