Iraqi President Nizar Amedi has extended his congratulations to the Iraqi people on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, highlighting the importance of promoting the values of solidarity, tolerance, and unity.

In a post published on X, President Amedi said: “On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, I extend my warmest congratulations and sincere best wishes to the honourable people of Iraq, as well as to the Arab and Islamic nations, praying that Almighty God returns this occasion to all with goodness, prosperity, and blessings.”

He added: “We take this blessed occasion to reaffirm the importance of strengthening the values of solidarity, tolerance, and unity, and to draw inspiration from the spirit of sacrifice and cooperation in overcoming challenges, in a way that reinforces Iraq’s strength and the unity of its people, and enables Iraqis to enjoy security, stability, and a dignified life.”
