PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani and Tom Barrack, Special Presidential Envoy for Iraq and Syria.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), extended congratulations to Tom Barrack on his appointment as the Special Envoy of U.S. President for Iraq and Syria.

"Congratulations to H.E. Tom Barrack on his appointment as the Special Presidential Envoy for Iraq and Syria," President Bafel said in a post on X.

"We look forward to working together to bring peace, stability, and prosperity to the region," he added.
