PUK President Marks September 11 Anniversary, Stands in Solidarity with US

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), on Thursday marked the anniversary of the September 11 attacks, honouring those who lost their lives and expressing solidarity with their families and the people of the United States.

The following is the PUK President’s statement:

On this solemn anniversary of the September 11 attacks, we remember the innocent lives lost and stand in solidarity with their families and the people of the United States.

September 11 remains a powerful reminder of the devastating consequences of terrorism and of our shared responsibility to confront extremism and work together for peace, security, and humanity.
