Delphi Economic Forum in Sulaymaniyah.
Under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani, the Delphi Economic Forum will take place on 6–7 June 2026 at Foundation Hall within the Culture Factory in Sulaymaniyah.
This year’s forum is set to bring together senior figures from the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the international community, alongside representatives of major global economies, to discuss the most pressing political, security, and economic challenges facing the region amid significant geopolitical shifts across the Middle East.
Throughout the forum, policymakers, government officials, and leading business figures from Greece, Türkiye, Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia, Poland, Italy, and France will participate in a series of high-level discussions focusing on regional and energy security, the green transition, economic growth, governance reforms, and emerging investment opportunities.
As the international community looks towards economic recovery and renewed cooperation following recent global conflicts, the Delphi Economic Forum reflects the Kurdistan Region’s efforts to promote constructive dialogue, strengthen strategic relations between the Middle East, Europe, and the United States, and contribute to shaping future economic policies.
Hosting the Delphi Economic Forum for the second consecutive year further reinforces Sulaymaniyah’s growing role on the international energy and economic map, while encouraging dialogue aimed at supporting economic reform and sustainable development despite ongoing regional challenges.
