PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani and Ahmed Davutoğlu, former Prime Minister of Türkiye.
Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, received Ahmed Davutoğlu, former Prime Minister of Türkiye and Leader of the Future Party, in Dabashan.
In the meeting, which was attended by Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, the situation in the region and the current tensions were discussed, and the importance of dialogue and mutual understanding was emphasised.
The meeting also addressed the development of relations between Sulaymaniyah Governorate and Türkiye.
The formation of the new cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the obstacles facing it were brought to discussion. Additionally, the issue of forming the new Iraqi government was discussed.
President Bafel and Ahmed Davutoğlu reaffirmed their support for the peace process.
