Jalal Sheikh Naji receives Finnish Ambassador to Iraq in Sulaymaniyah

Jalal Sheikh Naji, Head of the Protection and Information Agency, received Antti Putkonen, the Finnish Ambassador to Iraq, in Qalachwalan, Sulaymaniyah.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the political, military and security situation in the region. Emphasising the importance of continued comprehensive coordination among security forces, they stressed the need to safeguard shared interests and maintain stability in the Middle East.

Jalal Sheikh Naji expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the Finnish government and people, noting that Finnish advisers played an active role in assisting the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces during the war against ISIS.
