A tribal delegation praises the prominent role of the late President Mam Jalal.
A tribal delegation from Iraq's southern provinces of Dhi Qar and Basrah visited the city of Sulaymaniyah to strengthen ties of friendship, unity and brotherhood among the Iraqi people, where the delegation paid tribute to the late President Mam Jalal, laying a wreath at his grave in honour of the former Iraqi President.
The delegates expressed their appreciation for President Mam Jalal's historic role in Iraq's political life, praising his efforts to safeguard the country's unity, strengthen democratic principles and promote dialogue, cooperation and peaceful coexistence among Iraq's diverse communities.
They described the visit as a gesture of respect and gratitude to a statesman who played a pivotal role in shaping modern Iraq, particularly through his commitment to national dialogue and fostering a spirit of partnership among all Iraqis.
The delegation also reaffirmed the importance of maintaining strong ties between the people of all Iraqi provinces and promoting the values of national unity and brotherhood, which they said are essential to strengthening stability and deepening relations among the country's diverse communities.
