Qubad Talabani Hails Opening of Aran Cultural Centre in Kalar.
Kalar’s cultural landscape has received a major boost with the official opening of the Aran Cultural Centre. Announcing the launch, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Qubad Talabani highlighted the landmark facility as a vital milestone that aligns with the town's rapid demographic and economic expansion.
Talabani stated that Kalar has experienced swift development in recent years, both in terms of its growing population and its economic and public services. "This rapid transformation created an urgent need for an intellectual and cultural hub that reflects the town's progress and meets the aspirations of its residents," he added.
The newly opened Aran Cultural Centre is designed to be a modern home for the arts and education. The centre features an advanced cinema hall, a well-stocked library, an art gallery, and a dedicated music training and education centre.
Congratulating the local community, Talabani expressed his delight at the project's completion, noting that the centre offers a vital platform for the younger generation.
"This centre is a great opportunity, especially for all those educated, talented, art-loving, and culture-loving young people, to develop the cultural and intellectual aspects of Garmian," Talabani said.
