Norwegian oil company DNO said its net production fell sharply in the second quarter, primarily due to production shutdowns in the Kurdistan Region.
The company reported net production of 88,431 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) during the first quarter, down from 131,671 boepd in the previous quarter. In the same period last year, total production stood at 92,592 boepd.
DNO said that production in the Kurdistan Region dropped to 273 boepd from 39,600 boepd in the second quarter as operations were suspended, noting that no oil sales were recorded from the Kurdistan Region during the quarter.
DNO also confirmed that production at the Tawke field in Zakho resumed on 28 June, followed by the Peshkabir field, also in Zakho, on 11 July.
