Former Turkish President Abdullah Gül has said that the newly enacted Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration could open new avenues for resolving the Kurdish issue in Türkiye.

In a statement, Gül said the law, approved by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and published in the Official Gazette, would create new opportunities to address the Kurdish issue.

"I hope this law will benefit Türkiye, because I have always believed that developments will improve and the future will be better," Gül said.
