Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), said that genuine partnership in governance is key to resolving the political deadlock in the Kurdistan Region.

Rasul met with Holly Vare, the British Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, on Monday, where they emphasised that governance based on genuine partnership will resolve the deadlock in the Kurdistan Region.

The two sides also agreed that constructive dialogue remains the best approach to strengthening stability and creating greater opportunities for cooperation.
