PUK Delegation Visits Lalish Temple to Congratulate Yezidis on Jama Festival

A delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), led by Aras Mohammed Agha, a member of the Leadership Council and head of the party’s Seventh Centre in Nineveh, visited Lalish Temple in Sheikhan district to mark the Jama Festival.

The delegation was accompanied by Karwan Ali Mahmoud, heads of the PUK committees in Sheikhan, Bashiqa and Alqush, and a large number of party cadres.

At the temple, the delegation was welcomed by Mir Hazim Tahsin Beg, Prince of the Yezidis in Kurdistan, Iraq and the world, along with a number of Yazidi figures and elders.

During the visit, the delegation conveyed congratulations from PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani and the party’s leadership to the Prince, the Yazidi Spiritual Council and all Yazidi brothers and sisters, wishing them happiness and a joyful festival.
