PUK President: Bloodshed of Kurdish Youth is Unacceptable

President Bafel's meeting with the security agencies.
Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), welcomed Qasim Al-Araji, the Iraqi National Security Advisor, in Dabashan, Sulaymaniyah.
Qubad Talabani, Supervisor of President Mam Jalal's Secretariat Office, Jalal Sheikh Naji, Head of the Zanyari Agency, and Hiwa Ahmed, Head of the Kurdistan Region's Asayish Agency, attended the meeting and discussed the security situation in the country, the incidents in Kirkuk, and security force coordination. They also highlighted the integration of military and intelligence efforts to maintain security and stability in the country.
President Bafel said that the situation in Kirkuk should have been dealt with more responsibly.
"The bloodshed of Kurdish youth is unacceptable," he said, adding that the perpetrators must be punished as soon as possible. "Everyone in Kirkuk must maintain unity and coexistence, and everyone must adhere to it." Achieving stability in Kirkuk is a red line for us, and we will not let political conflicts sacrifice the lives and fate of the Kirkuk people."
"We are making every effort to ensure a peaceful life for our citizens," President Bafel said, "and cooperation between our forces is a factor in achieving this lofty goal, which we support."
