The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) has committed to addressing inequality and shortcomings within the government. PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani has stated that they will destroy the corrupt administration. A candidate from the PUK List 129 declared, "We will overthrow the government that persistently tries to starve the people and demonstrates a complete lack of justice."
PUK is Dedicated to Citizens' Welfare
Hawrin Ali Tofiq, candidate number 9 from the PUK List 129 in the Erbil constituency, told PUKMEDIA: "President Bafel's message was very clear when he declared that we will overthrow the administration that persistently seeks to starve the people, lacks justice, and establishes two separate zones. In one zone, they freely spend all the income of the Kurdish people, while the other zone is deprived of basic necessities."
“President Bafel emphasised the need for us all to unite and support the overthrow of the rule that has exhausted us. The PUK is dedicated to the welfare of the people and the services they require,” she said.
PUK Prioritise People's Well-beings
Mudhafar Hassan, candidate number 28 from the PUK List 129 in the Sulaymaniyah constituency, told PUKMEDIA: "We will overthrow the authoritarian rule linked to certain individuals."
"The PUK has resolved to put an end to corrupt governance because it prioritises the welfare of the people and seeks to address their problems," he added.
PUK President's Message Aimed at Serving Kurdistan
Samir Mohammed Rashid, candidate number 27 from the PUK List 129 in Duhok province, told PUKMEDIA: "President Bafel's message stating 'we will overthrow it' refers to the power that has been held by a single family for many years, bringing misery, crisis, and a lack of salaries to the people."
"We must destroy this administration and reconstruct it with a robust, inclusive government focused on service. President Bafel's messages are aimed at serving Kurdistan, its people, and the nation," he added.
