A distinguished Kurdish media scholar, Dr. Shwan Adam Aivas has been appointed to the editorial board of the International Journal of Literature, Linguistics, and Humanities (IJLLH), a new peer-reviewed academic journal published in Switzerland by Scholastic Research Publication.
The journal’s invitation highlighted Dr. Aivas’s significant reputation and outstanding professional contributions as the basis for his nomination. In his new role, he will be responsible for several key areas, including reviewing manuscripts, proposing high-quality academic presentations and special topics, advising on the journal’s scope and ethical standards, and promoting the publication within his professional networks.
The International Journal of Literature, Linguistics, and Humanities is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal that publishes research papers, reviews, and case studies three times a year. It aims to become a premier platform for scholars and researchers in its respective fields.
Dr. Aivas is an Assistant Professor at Sulaymaniyah Polytechnic University, chairperson of the Kurdish Media Watchdog (CHMK.org), and editor-in-chief of Dargawan Media Education magazine.
In a statement to PUKMEDIA, Dr. Aivas described the appointment as a meaningful recognition of his academic works, transcending nationality and background. He credited the internet’s global reach for enabling his contributions as a member of a stateless nation to be acknowledged on an international stage.
