PUK Vice President Reaffirms Commitment to Badinan Struggle

PUK VP Rifaat Abdullah's meeting with Badinan comrades, 22 December 2025.
Rifaat Abdullah, Vice President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with a number of young comrades from the Badinan region (Duhok and its surroundings) and reaffirmed the party’s enduring commitment to its historical struggle in the region.
The meeting was attended by Dr Yousif Goran, Member of the PUK Political Bureau, Stran Abdullah, Member of the PUK Leadership Council, and PUK Spokesperson Karwan Gaznay.
During the meeting, VP Abdullah stressed that the PUK would never abandon its historical struggle in Badinan, emphasising that the party remains determined to strengthen and expand its organisational presence in the region.
