Iraqi President Emphasises Importance of Revitalising Cooperation Among All Communities

Iraqi President Nizar Amedi received a delegation of Kurdish parliamentary bloc leaders at Baghdad Palace, the Iraqi Presidency reported on Sunday.
According to the Iraqi Presidency, the delegation included Rebwar Karim, head of the National Stance Movement bloc; Ahmed Haji Rashid, head of the Kurdistan Justice Group bloc; and Omar Mohammed and Omar Kocher of the Kurdistan Islamic Union bloc. They extended their congratulations to the President on assuming office, wishing him success in his duties.
President Amedi expressed his appreciation for the visit, saying it reflects a spirit of fraternity and unity among the Iraqi people. He affirmed his determination to work diligently to consolidate stability and promote constructive cooperation among all components of society.
The meeting reviewed the overall political situation in the country, as well as ways to further develop relations between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government in a manner that enhances cooperation, deepens mutual understanding, and serves the interests of all Iraqis.
The meeting was also attended by Harem Kamal, head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) parliamentary bloc, along with several bloc members.
