KRG Minister of Peshmerga Affairs Signs Promotion Lists for 2,364 Officers

The Minister of Peshmerga Affairs in the Kurdistan Regional Government has announced the signing of promotion lists for 2,364 officers within the Ministry of Peshmerga.
In a statement received by PUKMEDIA, Minister Shorsh Ismail said he was pleased to confirm the promotion of what he described as the “heroic officers” of the ministry. He noted that since taking up his post, he and his team had worked diligently to ensure the process was completed within the legally required timeframe.
Minister Ismail said the promotions were intended to serve as a strong incentive for officers to continue defending Kurdistan and the dignity of its people with high morale, describing them as a “solid fortress”.
He also reassured officers whose names are expected to appear on subsequent lists that their promotion files will be returned to the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs in due course.
According to PUKMEDIA, the minister has formally signed the promotion lists covering 2,364 officers.
