Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani and Germany’s new Consul General to the Kurdistan Region.

Kurdistan Region Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani and Germany’s new Consul General to the Kurdistan Region, Christian Oelfke, have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation.

Talabani received Olfke during a meeting in which he welcomed the new consul general and expressed his full readiness to provide support and assistance in carrying out his duties.

The two sides stressed the importance of closer cooperation and agreed to work towards further developing ties between Germany and the Kurdistan Region across various sectors.
